About The C.E.O
Mr. Alexander Nana Franke worked for nearly 10 years at Gepe Peterhof Gebäudereinigung GmbH in Germany, a renowned cleaning company. In the early 1990s, he was one of only two Africans among over 200 German employees. His dedication and hard work caught the attention of his manager, Mr. Helmut Bölsche, who supported him financially to undertake the journeyman’s examination (Gesellenprüfung), after fulfilling the necessary obligations and completing required courses. Mr. Franke excelled in the examination, ranking among the top candidates. With his journeyman’s certificate, he was promoted to the role of foreman, leading a team of over 80 workers. Although the position was challenging, he performed his duties with excellence. After three more years at Gepe Peterhof, Mr. Franke sought to deepen his expertise in the cleaning industry. In early 2002, he began his master’s studies at Carat GmbH, a cleaning school in Hamburg, as well as at the Phillip Holzmann School in Frankfurt am Main. Despite the challenge of studying in German without formal language lessons, he successfully completed the program, excelling particularly in practicals. After completing his studies, Mr. Franke left Gepe Peterhof GmbH and established his own company, Franke Glas u. Gebäudereinigung e.K. (Cleaning Services) in Hamburg. Following the success of his company, he expanded operations to Accra, Ghana, where he founded Franke Cleaning Services Ghana Ltd. in mid-2007. His journey highlights the importance of focus, decisiveness, and perseverance in achieving one’s goals and building a successful future. Mr. Alexander Nanaba Franke is a humble individual, married with nine children—two girls and seven boys. He is a German citizen but was born in Ghana, hailing from Akyem Oda. He is the son of the late Mr. Augustus Akwasi Assimeng, a former Black Star footballer, and Madam Mary Baah, popularly known as Akua Nyamekye.
